Anonymous web surfing

The tor network is by no means foolproof but its about the the closest thing to anonymous web browsing unless you know otherwise, it slows your connection a bit but when your own government takes it upon itself to monitor everyones e-mails and logging everyones surfing history, its the bare minimum you should be doing, anyone know of any other other anonimity tools, not sure if it works with firefox 3 yet so ive posted a link to firefox 2.
